South African striker Lars Veldwijk has signed a two-year deal with South Korean giants Jeonbuk Hyundai.
Veldwijk, who has been called up to Bafana Bafana a few times, was at Netherlands topflight side Sparta Rotterdam, but the striker fell out favour with the coach and has struggled for game time in the 2019/20 season.
He netted 28 goals in all competitions and almost single-handedly helped Rotterdam get promotion back to the Eredivisie but surprisingly at the beginning of the new season the striker was not getting much game time despite his form off the bench at the start of the new campaign.
Those frustrations might be what led the former PEC Zwolle talisman to make a decision to move on having scored just 5 goals so far in a very frustrating season for him.
