GladAfrica Championship side Bizana Pondo Chiefs have announced the appointment of Clinton Larsen as their new head coach with immediate effect.

Larsen replaces Julius Dube who had been in charge since the departure of Tshepo Motsoeneng in February.

Club Chairman Nkosinathi Mqokiyana believes that Coach Larsen’s experience will help the club to collect points in the remaining matches of the club in order to sustain the status.

“Mr Clinton Larsen has got a rich history in South African football and it is that experience the club needs going forward,” said the Chairman in a statement.

Chiefs are currently bottom of the GladAfrica Championship table with 14 points from 18 matches. They have won just three, drawn five and lost 10 in their debut season.
