SA youth international midfielder Luke Le Roux is said to be close to signing a long term deal with Swedish side Varbergs Bois after the teenager had a successful trial at the club from end of last year.
Le Roux was part of the 2019 U20 group that qualified for the World Cup in Poland but the youngster had to be withdrawn due to an injury he sustained towards the tournament.
Now the Supersport starlet seems to have put all his woes behind him as he looks to start his journey in Europe with the newly promoted side.
Yesterday another young South African Tashreeq Matthews signed a deal with Varbergs whilst Keanin Ayer is already a regular at the club meaning there will be three South African teenagers part of the ranks of the Swedish outfit should Le Roux, 19, sign in the next few days.
FARPost.co.za will be keeping a closer look at the developments in Varbergs as it seems it’s only a matter of time before the teenager makes the switch to the Swedish topflight.
