Goodman Musa Magagula has joined Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League side Lekwa City as an assistant coach.
Magagula, 33, started his football career at a very young age in the streets of Sakhile Location in Mpumalanga. His football career blossomed in the Premier Soccer League when he played for the University of Pretoria Football club and Free State Stars.
The former FC Zone Mavo defender hung up his boots for a managerial position at his hometown club. He is said to have a good relationship and knows almost all the players in the team and looking forward to better results and bring joy to the ‘Syabakokoda’ Standerton-based club.
He is warmly welcomed in his new club and feels excited to work hand in hand with the head coach and players.
Lekwa City are lying 8th in Stream A table of the provincial ABC League with zero points from three outings.
The side will take on Sivutsa Stars on Saturday, 27 March at the Kamhlushwa Stadium as they continue to look for their first three points of the 2020/21 season after three consecutive losses.
