Leopards capture former Sekhukhune winger


GladAfrica Championship side Black Leopards have signed former Sekhukhune United left-winger, Noko Malekana.

Malekana joins Leopards on a 1-year deal.

The Limpopo-born footballer was released by ‘Babina Noko’ alongside Thabang Mokoena, Thulani Ndlela, Simphiwe Hlongwane, Tshepo Makgoga, Pentjie Zulu, Junior Awono, Walter Musona, MacClive Phiri, Thabo Motlafi, and Sifiso Mbhele ahead of the new season.

The 21-year-old is a Polokwane United FC academy graduate, having joined them in 2014 and progressed through the system before joining TS Sporting for the 2018/19 National First Division season.

Lidoda Duvha will be looking at the promising youngster to provide the assists and goals necessary to bounce back in the DStv Premiership.

With all being said, Malekana will be hoping to make his mark in Leopards’ colours, while also progressing his career to the highest level.
