Black Leopards are believed to be in the hunt for the signature of defender Tshepo Gumede, following his exit from Amazulu this month.
The 28-year-old defender is on the lookout for the new club after it was decided that he would not be staying on with Usuthu, and it appears that he won’t be clubless for long.
According to our informant, Cavin Johnson, who’s the new coach at Lidoda Duvha, is eager to bring Gumede to Limpopo for the 2019/20 season as he looks to reunite with the Soweto born defender.
It remains to be seen whether Gumede, who has also attracted interest from Bloemfontein Celtic of late, will head to Limpopo.
However he will no doubt like the idea of teaming up with Johnson the duo having shared a strong bond during their time at Platinum Stars and Amazulu.
