Leopards keen on retaining majority of players

FARPost has it on good authority that relegated side Black Leopards want to keep the majority of their players going into the first division.

‘Lidoda Duvha’ were relegated to the GladAfrica Championship at the end of the 2020/21 season, their third relegation in their history.

But as is the norm, relegated teams tend to lose most of their players who seek for greener pastures in the Premiership, but the club has expressed their desire to go down with 70% of the squad that got relegated.

This publication can confirm that strikers Mohammed Anas, Ovidy Karuru, as well as Ghanaian defender Edwin Gyimah, are certainly on their way out.

The future of striker Themba Ndlovu and Zambian international Rodrick Kabwe remain uncertain.

Meanwhile, the club has decided to keep Morgan Shivambu and Mongezi Bobe as co-coaches for the new season.
