Leopards target six points for survival

Black Leopards co-coach Mongezi Bobe believes six points would be enough for the club to survive the chop at the end of the season.

With three matches remaining, Leopards are two points above bottom-placed club Polokwane City and sit at position 13.

With a six-pointer match against AmaZulu, a match against Bidvest Wits and warping up the season against title-chasers Mamelodi Sundowns, Bobe insists 6 out of a possible 9 would be enough to retain their status.

“Even if we can get six (points) we will be safe and that’s what we want,” Bobe told the media.

“We want to get at least six from the remaining games because it’s going to be tough you know. All the teams down there I think we are leading them with a point or two, but you have to win your games.

“You don’t have to rely on other teams to do the job for you, so we will have to win all our remaining games to be sure,” he said.

The match between AmaZulu and Leopards will take place at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday at 15:30.
