Leopards to decide on three trialists

Black leopards are set to make a final decision on whether to sign trialists Thabiso Semenya, Tshepo Tema and Thobani Mncwango before the end of this week.

The trio alongside Guinea international Keita Bangali started training with Lidoda Duvha this week with the hope of securing a contract.

Speaking exclusively to Farpost.co.za head coach Luc Eymael confirmed that they will be making one or two additions to the team.

“We are looking at signing one or two players. We will see yes but we have to wait for our meeting on Friday for a meeting with the management. With Keita we can’t sign him because he is a foreigner and we can not add another foreigner before January,” Eymael said.

Thobani Mncwango is one of the few players on trial at Leopards.

Eymael also adds that he has advised the Zambian football Association not to play striker Mwape Musonda during the international Fifa week, because he is carrying an injury.

“He was a bit injured and he needs to have an assessment by the doctor of the federation but I have informed the President of the Federation because I know him personally and I told him that is better not to play Musonda but lets see. I hope they will not make a mistake of playing him because he needs to rest,” he said.

Lidoda Duvha’s next match is the Telkom Knockout last 16 match away to Highlands Park on Saturday, October 19.
