GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting have secured the services of Lesotho international Tshwarelo Bereng on a two-year deal, the club has announced.
Bereng parted ways with Black Leopards at the end of the 2019/20 season, which was completed in a Bio Bubble in Gauteng. He joins Sporting as a free agent following his two-year spell at the Limpopo-based outfit.
The skillful midfielder made 19 appearances in all competitions for Leopards in the last campaign, netting once and providing two assists.
Over the weekend, Bereng was in action in the colours of Sporting in a friendly match against Baroka ahead of the new season.
“TS Sporting is delighted to announce the signing of Tshwarelo Bereng from Black Leopards. The Lesotho attacking midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 2022.”
The 29-year-old was at some stage linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs while playing for Chippa United during the 2016/17 season.
He was also on the books of Soweto side Swallows between 2013 and 2015 and has featured in over 50 matches in South Africa’s top-flight.
