After a difficult 3 months on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury, 16-year-old Siyabonga Ligendza is finally back on the field for Cardiff City Academy.
The bulky forward is delighted to be back after he recently started full training and explained his desire to get going. “I’m back in full training again after a few frustrating months on the sidelines.”
“I’ve missed so many games in that period but I’m happy to be back. I just want to get going again and get back on the field to do what I do most which is helping my team win games, “said Ligendza.
Ligendza who was born in England to a South African mother and a German father is a special player as he was promoted to the U23s of the ‘Blue Birds’ as a 15-year-old whom he joined as a 10-year-old boy.
