LINE-UPS: Pirates v Baroka

Orlando Pirates will welcome relegation-threatened Baroka at Ellis Park Stadium in an Absa Premiership clash on Tuesday night.

Both sides have confirmed their line-ups for the game scheduled to start at 18:00.

Baroka are languishing just one point above the relegation zone in 13th place while Pirates are in third place with five league games remaining.

Pirates have gone four matches without finding the back of the net and a win tonight will see them cut the gap between themselves and Mamelodi Sundowns to one point. However, Sundowns have two games in hand.

According to FARPost’s Opta Jabu, only once in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) history have Pirates failed to score in 5 successive games.

In their bid to escape relegation, Baroka drew their first game of the restart against fellow strugglers AmaZulu and will be looking to cause an upset tonight when they tackle the Soweto giants.

Here is how the ‘Buccaneers’ and ‘Bakgaga’ will line up this evening.

Pirates XI

Sandilands, Maela, Jele, Nyauza, Mako, Motshwari, Makaringe, Mabaso, Mhango, Mabasa, Pule.
