PSL chairman Irvin Khoza has confirmed that the League will resume on August 8 in Gauteng.
Khoza was speaking after the board of governors unanimously agreed to resume the season, rather than cancel it. The meeting was held on Monday.
Below is a summary of what Khoza said…
– “We’ve unanimously agreed that the games resume on 8 August.”
– “We have a compliance officer… all the clubs except one have complied. If you don’t comply, you are out!”
– “Every club will pay its own transport and accommodation expenses.”
The season will resume with the Nedbank Cup semifinals, with teams to enter the bio-bubble on August 7 in Gauteng.
