Zambia Super League side, Lusaka Dynamos has confirmed the signing of Botswana international midfielder Mothusi Cooper on a two-year deal with a one-year option.
Dynamos took to social media to confirm the arrival of Cooper from Township Rollers.
The 23-year-old will officially join the Wedson Nyirenda-coached side in January 2020 to kick start his life in the Zambia Super League.
“Lusaka Dynamos wishes to confirm that it has agreed to terms and signed a permanent transfer agreement with Township Rollers of Botswana for the signature of mercurial Tswana midfielder Mothusi ‘Mini’ Cooper,” the club said in a statement.
“The attacking midfielder, who has since signed a two-year deal with an option for a year, moves to the Lusaka outfit on the 1st of January 2021 and will be available for the league match against Green Eagles on ninth of January in Lusaka,” read the statement.
Cooper is a full international for the Zebras of Botswana, having made his senior debut in 2019 and was an integral part of the squad which reached the 2019 COSAFA Cup final.
He has starred in all games against Chipolopolo over the last 2 years making him a fan favourite on both sides of the Kazungula Bridge.
