Moreirense star Luther Singh has not played since suffering a fractured bone in January upon his return from the 2019 U23 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
The South African international has been out of action for approximately 8 weeks as he sustained an injury (fractured a bone in his leg) in training after the winter break in Portugal.
Singh has been out of action for two months now but the good news coming from Portugal is that the winger should start light training in the first week of March which will be a welcomed boost for his club Moreirense who have been struggling since his injury.
The national team coaches will also be pleased to hear about Singh’s return considering that at the end of March there are important camps for both Bafana Bafana and the Tokyo bound U23 team led by coach David Notoane.
Singh has scored three goals and assisted a further 3 so far this season and the Johannesburg born winger will hope to get back to action to increase his numbers before going back to parent club SC Braga at the end of this season.
