Former SA U20 national team coach Solly Luvhengo has been appointed as the head of scouting department for Absa Premiership side, Black Leopards.
Luvhengo confirmed to FARPost that he joined Leopards with the aim of contributing to develop young players.
“It’s true that I am joining Leopards. I have started working already and I am the team’s talent scout,” said Luvhengo.
“Everything has been finalised. Being the head of scouting is a position that suits me fine, because I believe that I have an eye for talent. I am excited that I will do that for a big brand like Leopards,” concluded the former Amajita coach.
The agreement means apart from developing the strategy for the club to blossom, he will also been in charge of coaching Leopards’s Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) team.
This comes A few days after chairman David Thidiela revealed that they have reached an agreement with someone with A deep knowledge of African football.
