Mabena promises to fight for Royal AM

Royal AM captain Ndumiso Mabena has promised the club’s supporters that the players will fight for the team.

The KwaZulu Natal side are fresh from a 1-0 defeat against Swallows FC in their first match of the Dstv Premiership season at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday.

The veteran striker is aware of the expectations of playing in the big league and the importance of collecting maximum points, when they face Cape Town City at Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday.

“We are playing at home and it’s important to collect points, because it’s not easy to get points away.”

“But here at home we must make it and work, it’s our home ground so we need the three points.”

“What we’ve done in the past game, it was a hard loss to swallow but the supporters must keep on supporting us. We’ll always fight over the white lines, which is on the field of play.”

“Look I think we’ve prepared very well, having said that you know we played on Sunday.”

“So everything is going well, we are looking forward to the match and we are ready to fight for three points, we want to win,” Mabena said.
