Mabunda: We needed to make sure people are looked after

Mamelodi Sundowns continue to show their support around the Tshwane area with ‘The Brazilians’ midfielder Tiyani Mabunda and the club supporters distributing food parcels to families in need amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are in a very difficult situation all over the globe and it’s important for us to stay united,” said Mabunda as the midfield stalwart handed over parcels.

“We have built a very strong relationship with supporters and it extends past the field of play,” – Mabunda. Picture courtesy of Mamelodi Sundowns.

“This means we need to love and support each other. So we needed to make sure we are helping where we can to make sure people are looked after,” he added.

The group traveled through the Tshwane areas; Soshanguve, Mabopane, Winterveld, Mamelodi and Atteridgeville distributing food to the needy families.

A true leader in the group and a fan favourite, Mabunda continues to value the relationship built with the Masandawana faithfuls. Picture courtesy of Mamelodi Sundowns.
