Golden Arrows chairlady Mato Madlala is adamant that her club is not a one-man show and they do not stand in anyone’s way.
Arrows recently confirmed the departure of coach Mandla Ncikazi after the termination of his contract by mutual agreement.
Madlala told FARPost that the club always allows people to further their careers elsewhere, when they want to leave.
“In this world it’s not possible to stand in anyone’s way, you don’t stop someone when they want to leave,” she stated.
“I don’t believe in standing in anyone’s way, if you see greener pastures, I always give my blessings to people.
“Others will emerge after you, so it’s important to develop as much people as we can. It’s important to allow people to flourish in life and there are no hard feelings,” Madlala continued.
“A departure of the coach depends on what you have as a club, even when Steve Komphela left (to join Mamelodi Sundowns) we knew that our structure would remain.
“In most clubs it depends on the structure, it allows you to work in a new environment easily. As long as the structure and foundation are tight you are bound to succeed. We are open to recruit in any position at Arrows, as long as there is a need for that,” added Madlala.
