Makhubedu resigns at Polokwane, appointed coach at Sekhukhune


In a shock move, Sekhukhune United have announced MacDonald Makhubedu as their new head coach to take over from Johnny Ferreira.

Ferreira has now been moved to the Director of football role.

FARPost has learnt that Makhubedu handed over his resignation letter to the Polokwane City management on Sunday night telling the club that he needed to be closer to his suffering taxi business.

He was in charge for seven matches winning three, with two draws and two defeats.

“We are very much excited to have Mr Makhubedu in the team and we believe he will assist us in achieving the goals that we have set for ourselves as Sekhukhune United,” said club executive Chairman, Simon Malatjie.
