Manchester City have confirmed that Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker have tested positive for COVID-19.
Two other members of staff also tested positive for the deadly virus.
“All four personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine,” the club said in a statement.
“Everyone at the Club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery over the Christmas period ahead of their return to work, training and competition.”
The Man City duo will miss out on trips to Everton and Chelsea as they are going into self-isolation for a period of 10 days in line with the Premier League regulations.
