Manchester United will be without Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial ahead of their Champions League encounter against RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena Stadium.
The kick-off is at 22h00 tonight.
The Red Devils come into this game after losing 3-1 to Paris St Germain (PSG) last week and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s troops will be hoping to change last week’s misfortune as they aim to cruise their way into the Champions League knockout stages.
United will miss out on the services of their attackers Cavani and Martial as the duo picked up knocks in Saturday’s 3-1 comeback win at West Ham.
“Edinson and Anthony, they’ve only got minor niggles but they won’t be making the trip,” said Ole, who is also without Fred through suspension.
The Norwegian mentor also added that David De Gea and Luke Shaw are back in the team and will be part of the squad to face RB Leipzig.
Ole has admitted that there is a lot of pressure on United heading into the final game of the group stages, but he remains confident that the players will rise to the occasion.
“The players are here, they are Man United players because they have qualities that we’ve looked for and I’m sure that tomorrow night will prove that’s the reason why they’re here, they will show it,” he adds.
Man United skipper Harry Maguire seconded his mentor by stating that it’s very crucial to win the game in order to seal the knockout stages qualification.
“First and foremost, I joined this club to play in the biggest games possible. We feel ready, we feel prepared and we’re looking forward to it,” Maguire stated.
