Rwanda coach Vincent Mashami has named his final 30-man squad for the Total African Nations Championship (Chan) due to be held in Cameroon as from the 16th of January to 7 February 2021.
Amavubi plays in Group C with Morocco, Uganda and Togo, and will start their campaign against Uganda, before taking on holders Morocco, and will wrap up their group matches against debutants Togo.
The Rwandan mentor has dropped three payers from the 33-players squad that assembled in to camp on the 24th of December 2020.
The players that were left out of the final squad are Onesme Twizerimana, Patrick Sibomana and Ally Serumogo.
Since the inception of Chan in 2009, Rwanda has missed the inaugural edition and the 2014 tournament, making its debut in 2011 before hosting the 2016 showpiece and qualifying for the upcoming 6th edition.
