Mamelodi Sundowns are firmly in control of Group C of the CAF Champions League following their 1-0 victory over USM Alger in North Africa on Saturday.
Playing in his 300th match for the Brazilians, skipper Hlompho Kekana netted the all-important goal early in the second half in the match played in Algeria.
Downs now top the group with seven points from their three matches so far.
They drew with Wydad Casablanca away in Morocco, beat Petro Atletico at home and now have beaten USM away.
Pitso Mosimane’s charges are looking on course to win the group and reach the knockout phase.
