Baroka head coach Dylan Kerr has called on trialist Khethokwakhe Masuku to prove he is better than what they have in order to be signed.
The 34-year-old is on a week-long trial at Bakgaga with a decision likely to be made this week or early next week.
“He was playing in the ABC (Motsepe League for Baberwa) you know so he has to show something that he is better than what he have,” Kerr told FARPost.co.za.
“We have similar players in his position so it’s just a matter of him proving himself. Like today (Thursday) we will play him in a training match and see how it goes,” he said.
If Masuku signs for Bakgaga, he will be the first signing under Kerr’s tenure since he took over from Wedson Nyirenda in December last year.
