Mathaba hopes for home Nedbank Cup draw

TS Sporting coach Richard Mathaba has revealed his wish to get a home fixture in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals.
‘Abantu Bomthetho’ booked their place in the last 8 after narrowly beating ABC Motsepe League side Happy Wanderers 4-3 in Durban the past weekend to the delight of their traveling supporters.
The GladAfrica Championship side  has played all their 3 matches away from home, including the a preliminary round against Ajax Cape Town.
Tonight at 19.30 Sporting will go into a “hat” to determine their next opponent.
“I hope so (to get a home fixture) because our fans have been traveling a lot. I think this time we must get a home game. We have been traveling a lot and it’s too much on the players,” said Mathaba.
The other teams in the quarterfinals are Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits, Bloemfontein Celtic, Highlands Park, Baroka, Real Kings and Black Leopards.
“Anyone who fields 11 players, we will be happy to meet them. Irrespective of the division and stature of the team in the league. It’s a case of 11 versus 11,” concluded Mathaba
