SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena have safely arrived in Cairo, Egypt to form part of coach David Notoane’s 15-man squad.
SA’s U23s are participating at the Africa Cup of Nations, where the top three finishers will represent Africa at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
“Both players will be available for selection in SA’s second Group B match against Ivory Coast on 12 November (on Tuesday),” read SA Football Assocation’s statement on Sunday morning.
SA played to a goalless draw against Zambia on Saturday, while the Ivorians beat Nigeria 1-0.
