SuperSport United have announced the signing of Botswana international defender, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.
Ditlhokwe joins Matsatsantsa from Township Rollers on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 21-year-old helped the Gaborone giants to lift the Botswana Premier League in the 2018/19 season and was rewarded with a national team call up.
“I am very happy to be here in this great team. The club has won a lot of trophies in the past and I want to be part of that winning environment and I am also looking forward to working with coach Kaitano Tembo,” says Ditlhokwe.
SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews adds, “TT is a player we have tracked for some time and we feel he has a really bright future at SuperSport. We have had Botswana players here before like Dipsy Selolwane, Mogogi Gabonamong, and Mogakolodi Ngele and they all made an impact, so we are looking forward to TT helping us to win trophies and maintain a good league campaign.”
