‘Mbule has to learn the hard way’

SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo believes talented youngster Sipho Mbule has to learn the hard way in order for him to fully reach his potential.

Mbule was substituted at half time at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium when they lost 1-0 to Chippa United last weekend.
The U23 international gave away possession cheaply while trying to showboat in a dangerous area in midfield, which almost saw Chippa  scoring from that situation with Augustine Kwem coming very close.
And Tembo insisted that Mbule had to be punished by replacing him with Jamie Webber at half time so he can learn quickly from his mistakes.
“I think each and every game and each and every mistake is a learning curve for them, sometimes you learn the hard way and that happens you know you’ve got to learn,” said Tembo
“He now knows what to do, sometimes you also have to make sure that they understand they know that this is a mistake, sometimes you got to be put in a situation where you might pay for it – that’s how it is.”
