Cape Town City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane has put behind the transfer debacle between him and former club Baroka, insisting that everything is in the past.
Mdantsane was released by Baroka and joined the Citizens as a free agent.
But a few days after he penned a deal with Cape Town City, the Ga-Mphahlele appeared to make a U-Turn on their decision claiming they never released him.
Baroka received a lot of criticism for the manner in which they handled the matter even going to such an extent of taking the player to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber but later dropped the case.
“Well, it’s all in the past now yeah we just have to focus on the future and right now I am in the City so that’s the most important thing. Whatever happened at Baroka is in the past now,” said Mdantsane.
The 25-year-old has since settled in at the Citizens and has played in 5 matches in all competitions.
“It’s never easy going to a new team and there are quality players there so I knew going there is never going to be easy for me.”
City are currently 11th on the Absa Premiership log with 24 points from 22 games, 4 points above bottom of the log side AmaZulu.
