Congolese striker Elia Meschak was influential as Young Boys defeated Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.
The 23-year-old netted his first goal of the competition when it was needed the most as the Swiss side got a hard-earned victory on Thursday night .

Meschak showed a poacher’s instinct to finish from close range and make it three before halftime as the home side was cruising against their Bundesliga visitors.
Patrick Schick netted two goals in the first seven minutes of the second half to pull Leverkusen back into the game before Moussa Diaby completed the come back in the 68th minute to stun Young Boys who struggled to keep up with the pace of the Germans.
Just when the visitors thought they had done enough to take a 3-3 draw back home, Siebatsheu scored his second of the game with a minute left on the clock to seal victory for Young Boys who won 4-3 on the night.
