Eswatini National First Division side Mbabane Citizens head coach Bongani Mhlongo has quit the team to join Denver Sundowns.

Mhlongo started training his new team a week ago in preparation for the upcoming match against Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows.

He will work with Terisayi Changara and former Milling Hotspurs coach Thembela Dlamini.

“Mhlongo has joined the Sundowns technical team. He will work closely with the other two coaches in the team,” a source told Swazi observer.

Mhlongo boasts of experience in the elite league, having coached Mbabane Highlanders and Moneni Pirates. He began his coaching career at the now defunct Zwicle FC.

The ‘Kappa Boys’ are currently sitting at the summit of the log standings in the MTN Premier League with four points.
