With Kaizer Chiefs firmly in control in the Absa Premiership, the club’s head coach Ernst Middendorp appears to be the favourite to win the Coach of the Month award yet again.
The November Coach and Player of the Month will be announced on Tuesday afternoon at the Premier Soccer League offices in Parktown, Johannesburg.
Middendorp has already been on the podium twice this season; for the August and September/October accolades.
Since the German’s last award, Amakhosi have won 5 League outings in a row, which puts him in a good position to make it 3 out of 3 in terms of awards this 2019/2020 campaign.
Kaitano Tembo of SuperSport United may also be considered given his side’s rise to second position on the Absa Premiership standings, but Middendorp is undoubtedly the favourite.
Even better, with Chiefs performing admirably in the League, what are the chances of another clean sweep?
The last time out goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi accompanied Middendorp to receive the September/October Player of the Month award.
The likes of Samir Nurkovic have been on song and would be strongly considered.
