Salah continues hot form

A number of African stars were involved with their respective clubs across Europe. Mbaye Diagne was on target for West Bromwich Albion while Mohamed Salah continued his form for Liverpool.

MBAYE DIAGNE & BERTRAND TRAORE

Aston Villa and West Brom played out to a thrilling 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Both attackers started and played the whole 90 minutes with Diagne scoring the second goal for West Brom.

MOHAMED SALAH & SADIO MANE

The duo played 90 minutes as Liverpool was held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United.

NICOLAS PEPE

Pepe played 74 minutes, but couldn’t help Arsenal avoid a 1-0 defeat against Everton on Friday night.

SAID BENRAHMA & HAKIM ZIYECH

Chelsea defeated West Ham United 1-0 on Saturday to stay in the top four.

Ziyech and Benrahma were both introduced in the second half of the encounter.

SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE

The Nigerian winger was on target for Villarreal as they lost 2-1 against FC Barcelona.

IDRISSA DOUMBIA

Doumbia was a second half substitute for Huesca who got thumped 2-0 by Getafe.

SOFYAN AMRABAT & CHRISTIAN KOUAME

Amrabat played the entire 90 minutes while Kouame was a second half substitute in Fiorentina’s 1-1 draw against Juventus.

NWANKWO SIMY

Simy played the whole game and scored a brace as Crotone defeated Parma 4-3 in the league.

RAMY BENSEBAINI

Bensebaini played the whole game and netted the fourth goal to help Borussia Mönchengladbach defeat Arminia Bielefeld 5-0 on Sunday.

AMADOU HAIDARA

Haidara played the entire game and found the back of the net as RB Leipzig thumped VFB Stuttgart 2-0.

PHILLIP MWENE

The Kenyan played the whole 90 minutes as Mainz defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 in the Bundesliga.

SLIMANI, TOKO EKAMBI, KADEWERE &CORNET

All four stars were involved, but they couldn’t help Lyon avoid a 3-2 defeat against LOSC LILLE.

Islam Slimani scored the first goal for Lyon, but Lille managed to come back and take all maximum points.

MOSES SIMON

Simon lasted 80 minutes and laid an assist as FC Nantes defeated Strasbourg 2-1 in Ligue 1.

ANDY DELORT

Delort lasted the whole 90 minutes, but he couldn’t help Montpellier avoid a 3-1 defeat against OGC Nice.

FARID BOULAYA

The Algerian played 87 minutes for FC Metz as they lost 3-1 against Paris Saint-Germain.

SAMUEL KALU

It wasn’t a happy return for Kalu as Girondins Bordeaux got thumped 4-1 by FC Lorient.

PATSON DAKA, KARIM ADEYEMI &ENOCK MWEPU

Patson Daka was on target yet again for RB Salzburg as they defeated Wolfsberg 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Mwepu also played the whole game while Adeyemi was introduced in the second half.

SEBASTIEN HALLER

Haller played 85 minutes as Ajax Amsterdam defeated AZ Alkmaar 2-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
