Royal AM co-coach Serame Moketsi has stood by his boss’ words about his team and what they believe in.
Moketsi told the media at the KwaZulu Natal Premier’s Cup launch yesterday that his team are the champions of the GladAfrica Championship.
He further revealed that his team has been receiving psychological help, pertaining the situation they find themselves in and they look to bounce back stronger regardless of the court cases and PSL DC verdict.
“Firstly I still feel like a champion, I won the league fair and square, secondly in terms of how we motivate the boys after everything that has happened we have managed to organise some psychologist to help them,” he said.
“Fortunate enough we’ve kept most of the players from last season, about 99% of our players have remained with the team.
“With the case itself, as you know I can’t say much but but our players are ready to start the season, because we won the league,” said Moketsi.
The KZN club has been fighting for promotion in the courts of law after the PSL applied their rules and awarded three points to then second placed Sekhukhune United and subsequently the latter were crowned GladAfrica Championship winners.
