Kamohelo Mokotjo has been out injured for almost two months now since he got that bad injury he got against Leicester City in the FA cup.
FARPost caught up with national team doctor Thulani Ngwenya who confirmed that the midfielder will be out for the rest of the season for Brentford.
“Kamo is going to be out for the rest of the season. We got his medical report from Brentford and yeah its confirmed he is out until this season ends, “said the Bafana Bafana team doctor Ngwenya
Ngwenya had confirmed in the press briefing for the squad announcement that from the previous squad Mokotjo, Thapelo Morena, Thamsanqa Mkhize and Thato Mokeke were the four players who are injured so they will not be included in this camp for the double header against Sao Tome e Principe in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The national team selectors will be sweating hoping that Mokotjo recovers well in time before Bafana host Ghana in June a match that will probably decide who will finish top of the group going to the AFCON in Cameroon next year.
