There will some teams missing in action this weekend in Hollywoodbets Super League because some teams have their key players still in camp with Banyana Banyana.

SAFA has revealed that certain players are still in isolation though the national team match against Netherlands has been called off.

“Despite the Senior Women’s national team failure to travel to Netherlands due to Covid-19 issues, some players are still in isolation and those clubs affected will see their games postponed.

“These involve matches between University of Western Cape vs Golden Ladies, Tsunami Queens vs Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and The University of Johannesburg vs JVW.
Matches involving these teams will be rescheduled to a later date.”

However, there’ll be some action for the rest of the teams in the league.

“Pick of this weekend matches is the clash between Durban Ladies and Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies which will take place on Saturday, 3 July at King Zwelithini in Umlazi, KwaZulu Natal. This match will be played at 13h00.

“TUT Football Club will host Ma-Indies FC at TUT Stadium in Pretoria at 15h00, while Thunderbirds Ladies will host Richmond United at the Jan Smuts Stadium in East London.

“Coal City Wizards will host First Touch Academy on Sunday, 4 July. This match will be broadcast live on SABC 1 and Channel 123 on Open View from the Puma Stadium in Witbank at 15h00,” said SAFA.
