Mamelodi Sundowns star Thapelo Morena has revealed his desire of plying his trade overseas in the near future which he believes can happen through hard work.
“There are a lot of South African players overseas and Percy Tau is one of the players I played with and it’s something that I look up to and knowing that through my hard work I’ll literally do my level best to try to and get there to play overseas,” stated Morena.
The 26-year-old joined Sundowns at the start of the 2016/17 season from Bloemfontein Celtic and has gone on to become one of the key players for the Brazilians playing as a right wingback.
Morena says his short term goal is to win more trophies at Chloorkop while maintaining his place in the national team.
“The most important thing for me is getting more gold medals and try my level best every time to be in the national team,” he concluded.
