After tendering his resignation at Running Water FC who are campaigning in the ABC Motsepe KwaZulu Natal League, coach Gabriel Morewa has announced his new home.

Morewa told FARPost that he had two offers on the table when he left KwaZulu Natal for Limpopo and he had to decide which one really enticed him between Ablex United and Mikhado FC.

After some time the coach reunited with his former employers at Mikhado FC.

“As I told you that I’ll be announcing my new home soon, I can see everyone has been writing other things because I was linked with two teams; Ablex United and Mikhado.

“I have joined Mikhado FC who are currently number one on the log,  if you remember well I was with Mikhado in 2017/18 season when they survived relegation,” said Morewa.

He further reminisced about his previous tenure with the Limpopo ABC Motsepe league side, when he helped them survive relegation.

“In 2017 when I was called by the Musandiwa family to come and help a sinking ship, Mikhado was on a eight-game losing streak. I arrived and took the team to position nine from position 16 with 32 points,” continued Morewa.

Responding to the rumors of him getting money from both teams to travel to Limpopo, the coach confirmed receiving the money and further explained what transpired.

“I wanted to go to Ablex or Mikhado, both of them put offers on the table, then I took a last minute decision and decided to come to Mikhado FC. ”

“To be honest with you Mr Zwane (from Ablex) gave me money earlier in the morning on Sunday. Both teams sent me money for transport, then I had to weigh their offers so that I could decide on my next destination. So I decided to choose Mikhado and I transfered back the money to Ablex,” concluded Morewa.
