Goodman Mosele has expressed his excitement since joining Orlando Pirates and looking forward to build on his good start to the season.
Mosele has already shown signs of impressive displays in just four games in the Soweto giants’ colours.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined ‘Bucs’ from the Limpopo-based outfit Baroka FC on a four-year contract prior to the 2021/22 season.
The 2019/20 Premiership Young Player of the Season made his dream debut for Pirates in the DStv Premiership opener against Stellenbosch FC, where he went on to score a goal and also walked away with the Man of the Match accolade on the day.
“I didn’t think the opportunity to start games would come so soon,” he told the club’s official site.
“I expected to spend some time adapting to the team’s style, but the chance came and I grabbed it.
“I’m encouraged by how I’ve performed. All I can say is if you work hard, things will go well for you. I’m quite proud of how I’ve played so far and I want to continue doing well.”
The North West-born footballer admits he hasn’t stopped smiling since making his move to the ‘Happy People’ and is hopeful he can replicate his form from the previous games when they face the DStv Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 25 September.
The much-awaited mouthwatering encounter will take place at Orlando Stadium with the kick-off set for 15:00 in the afternoon.
“It’s important that we play well on Saturday. Whichever team gels well will have the upper hand. It’s a big game, and we’re up for it,” he says in conclusion.
