While the team is in camp and preparing for the restart of football, Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and his two analysts are making time to study for separate courses.
Coach Mosimane would have been in Morocco to attend lessons for his CAF Pro Licence but due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the current travelling restrictions, the course has been moved to an online setting, joining other students of the game via the internet.
Members of Mosimane’s technical team; Performance Analysts, Musi Matlaba and Mario Masha are also in class studying for their UEFA C Licence which is hosted by the Scottish FA.
Mosimane, who encourages members of the Technical Team to study further always emphasises that knowledge is key and it means well for the team when members of his technical team study further.
Commenting about the course, Mosimane said, “I’m in the company of other great coaches from the African continent. Today’s presentation was done by Belgium’s National Team Head Coach, Roberto Martinez.
“We got to understand how he worked to make the ‘Belgian Red Devils’ the number one ranked team in the world”
Some of Africa’s finest and most successful coaches across including from the likes of Raja Casablanca, AS Vita Club, FUS Rabat are also part of the CAF PRO License which is the first of its kind on the continent.
Mosimane and the analysts will continue to attend their lessons until they awarded their respective Football Coaching Licences.
