Mosimane heaps praise on Downs ladies

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has heaped praise on the performance of the Sundowns Ladies team in the National Women’s League.

Sundowns Ladies started the inaugural league with a bang winning their five opening matches of the league, the only team with a 100% record.

They are also the League’s top scores after banging in 18 goals and conceding only one.

“The Girls are there everyday with us in training. Remember we all are training at the same place at Chloorkop. They beat people 8 or 6, they are free scoring, so they are doing well,” Mosimane noted.

“Our MDC team is also doing well, we just won the Kay Motsepe U/19 Tournament with the high school team. So, things are looking good, it can be better, but we are okay with those four teams that I have mentioned” said Mosimane.

The Downs Ladies team currently lead the log with 15 points followed by Tshwane University of Technology with 13 points and Bloem Celtic at position three with 11 points.

Durban Ladies are bottom of the log with a single point, second from bottom is Richmond Ladies tired with third from bottom, Tsunami Queens.
