Mosimane names Al Ahly squad for SA trip

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has named the first team squad that will fly out to Johannesburg to take on South Africa giants Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarterfinal on Saturday.

Al Ahly are preparing for the second leg clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League quarterfinal after their first leg success with an important 2-0 win two days ago.

Al Ahly have welcomed back two of their key players in Ali Maaloul and Hamdy Fathi to the squad after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, however both are unlikely to feature in the encounter.

On the other hand, the Red Devils will be without Marwan Mohsen who has sustained an injury to his knee, while Mohamed Mahmoud and Mostafa Shobier are also out of the squad after testing positive for COVID-19.
