Mosimane will ask for Khoza’s blessing before chasing Lorch

Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has issued a statement regarding speculation linking Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch with a potential move to the Egyptian giants.

The former Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns said that he would first speak to Pirates boss Irvin Khoza before making a move to sign Lorch.

“There are rumours going around that Al Ahly wants Lorch,” wrote Mosimane on social media in response to the rumours.

“If that has to happen, firstly I will humbly call the Chairman (Man of Honour) and ask for his blessings.”

Lorch, who has been linked with a move away from Pirates missed several games last season due to injuries.

He only managed to score just one goal with four assists for the Sea Robbers as they finished third in the league.
