Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has won the most successful coach award in Egypt, as he led the Red Devils to their historic treble this season.
Mosimane joined the Egyptian giants late in September this year, following his resignation at Mamelodi Sundowns.
This is the first award for the South African football mentor in Egypt.
The 56-year-old guided his side to the Caf Champions League triumph, the Egyptian Premier League title and the Egypt Cup.
‘Jingles’ also expressed his gratitude to the club and added that it was unexpected for him to win the accolade as he recently joined Al Ahly.
“Thanks, for the award. Most successful Coach in 2020 in Egypt, it was unexpected taking into consideration of the short time I have spent here. Anyway the winning the treble contributed to the award. I will gladly receive it. Thanks Al Ahly,” Mosimane wrote on his official Twitter account.
