The Mozambican Football Federation and the Mozambican Football League have confirmed that there will be no Mozambola in 2020, shattering all Mozambicans’ aspirations to see the ball rolling on December 5th.
The new Mozambola season has been pushed back to next year, January 9.
According to multiple reports, it is allegedly because the associated clubs complained that “we are in a rainy season and this can hinder the race’s progress”.
Teams competing in the CAF Champions League such as Costa do Sol have already made it public that the lack of games could affect their participation in the Champions League.
