Mthembu wants revenge against Baroka

AmaZulu striker Siphelele Mthembu has made it no secret that there is more to just a win in their upcoming encounter against Baroka.

The two teams will lock horns at Johnsson Kings Park Stadium on Saturday afternoon with Usuthu looking for their first victory in the league.

But Mthembu still has unfinished business with Bakgaga, a team that broke their unbeaten run last season in the league.

“The laws of universe, you call it karma. I think it’s the right time now we get into the winning mentality now through Baroka,” said Mthembu.

“There is no better time to get our revenge but we have to defeat Baroka so that we can gain momentum and the winning mentality again going forward.

“We have that positive energy towards the game against Baroka and we are just ready to keep on fighting as we fought in Africa.

“I think right now we are matured enough to work so hard as a team and keep the team together,” echoed Mthembu.
