Mthokozisi Dube returns to Arrows

Golden Arrows have confirmed the return of defender, Mthokozisi Dube.

The 28-year-old footballer rejoins Abafana Bes’thende having spent the whole of last season with them on loan from Orlando Pirates.

Dube was outstanding for the KZN-based outfit in the last term as he managed to play 27 games across all competitions.

‘Batman’, as he is popularly known within the football cycles, is a prototype for the modern right-back who is supremely fit and steadfast defensively.

He is also the kind of a player that offers his side an extra attacking dimension at crucial times.

The Soweto giants Youth Development graduate has spent most of his time out on loan since his promotion to the first team in July 2013. He also had loan stints at Sivutsa Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic.

“Just as we were preparing to say goodbye, we are happy to welcome you back,” read Arrows’ tweet.

“Glad to have you back with us ‘Batman’.”
