Mudau expects Leopards to beat Amavarara by an odd goal

Black Leopards midfielder Khuliso Mudau says although they will definitely beat amateur outfit Amavarara FC in tonight’s Nedbank Cup last 16 encounter at Thohoyandou Stadium, it won’t be by a big margin.

‘Lidoda Duvha’ reached the last 16 by humiliating another lower division side North West University 4-0, while Amavarara beat Super Eagles 2-1.

Amavarara hails from Komani in the Eastern Cape and campaigns in the ABC Motsepe League.

“We won’t take them lightly. We have to take them serious because we have no idea how they play, “said Mudau.

“So, as for us what we must do is not to underestimate them you see. We must just play our normal game. We don’t even know which division they are playing in, but I think it’s Vodacom, “added Mudau.

“Yes, there’s no reason for us to lose this game, obvious we are expecting a win, I will not predict goals, but we are going to win. We will just go there and play our normal game.

“We want to see ourselves in the final, that’s what I can say. It won’t be by 24-0, it will be by 1-0.

“The thing is we don’t know them so we can’t take them for granted. I think it’s gonna be difficult because they are playing for nothing, they have nothing to lose, “concluded Mudau.
