Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Knowledge Musona appears to have done enough to impress Belgian side Kas Eupen, with the view of reviving his career.
The 29-year-old trained with the team in Qatar last week and featured in the two friendly matches against Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam and PSV Eindhoven.
According to Belgian newspaper Grenzecho, Eupen sports and general director Christoph Henkel confirmed their interest in signing Musona.
“We are currently in discussions with the player’s advisors and Anderlecht (Musona’s club), but we are on the right track,” said Henkel .
Eupen is keen on strengthening the team with experienced players for the second round following their disappointing first round in the Belgian First Division A.
SA side Mamelodi Sundowns are also believed to be monitoring the situation between Anderlecht and Musona.
